The travelling threesome is off on another adventure, Joyce and Gil, joined by Marilyn Faulkner went to Portugal. We started our journey from Savannah, GA, on the 27th of October with a flight to Newark and then onward to Lisbon Portugal. We were met by our driver, Carlos, who took care of us for all of the longer legs while we are in the country. Carlos turns out to be a gem and made our trip even a better experience. We were driven the approximate two and a half hour route to the southern most coast of the Algarve region to the village of Porches. Our headquarters for the next few days is the Villa Vita Parc, which is a magnificent resort on the coast. This is one of the most complete and beautiful resorts at which we have ever stayed. It has multiple fine dining restaurants, pools, gardens, suites and villas spread over manicured grounds on cliffs overlooking the Atlantic.
